HTPOW Laser Engraving Machine Basic Training

ORTUR Laser Master 3

Workplace safety has been a top priority for HTPOW Laser Engraving for decades in the development, manufacture and operation of laser marking systems. To support its customers in safely operating laser equipment and enforcing legal requirements, HTPOW offers a series of seminars on "Laser Safety Expertise". And teach you how to safely use very famous laser engraver such as Ortur Laser Master 3 and LaserPecker 2.

The seminar series covers three different topics and provides comprehensive expertise. Participation in the workshop therefore applies to the qualification of laser safety officers, the construction of safe laser protective enclosures and the implementation of the CE process for machine classification. How to choose a safe and suitable laser engraving machine.

The first workshop provides basic training for laser safety personnel. Due to the potentially high hazard, any operator of Class 3 and 4 laser equipment is legally obliged to appoint a responsible person, provide regular further training and demonstrate his or her current expertise. This includes the ability to perform risk assessments, a particular focus of training.

The technical and formal requirements for building a qualified laser protective enclosure were the subject of the second workshop. Optical radiation shielding is an important prerequisite for the safe operation of a Class 4 laser system, which is hazardous to health, thus classifying the entire laser facility as a harmless Class 1 laser.

The third workshop imparts the expertise required to implement the CE process according to the EU Machinery Directive. Participants will learn about the formal steps to be taken before placing a laser system on the market, which includes extensive documentation. Issuing a CE Declaration of Conformity is a prerequisite for operating laser machines in the European Economic Area.

All three seminars can be booked individually and are based on legal requirements in the field of laser material processing/marking. Potential participants are laser safety officers, design engineers, plant engineers, integrators and other leaders in the field of laser safety.

Appointments can be made by personal agreement. The workshop is moderated by HTPOW's experienced security engineers.
